Ali Emrah Bozbayındır is an Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the Faculty of Law of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Turkey. He is a Herbert Smith Freehills Fellow, Faculty of Law of the University Cambridge.
Professor Bozbayindir has been a visiting scholar at Institute of Criminology of the University of Cambridge and Max-Planck Institute for Comparative and International Criminal Law, Germany. He has published widely in Turkish, Italian, English and German – including ‘The International Criminal Court: A Substantive Criminal Law Analysis in the Context of the Principle of Complementarity’.
Professor Bozbayindir holds an LL.B. Degree from Selcuk University (Turkey), and LL.M. and Dr. Jur. Degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Cologne (Germany).
