Hakan is Head of International law and has more than 20 years’ legal experience dealing with international cases on behalf of governments, INGOs, NGOs and individuals. His vision and global network of international contacts allow him to coordinate multiple international projects relating to international human rights cases, international arbitration cases, and more.
Hakan has successfully led many highly trained lawyers in various international cases and special matters – including international sanctions, international criminal law and international arbitration cases. He has also specialised in strategy and policy development for clients. Hakan has been central in establishing the structure of several charities based in the UK and continues to contribute to humanitarian organisations around the world.
Hakan holds a BA Honours degree in Politics and International Relations and has a Masters degree in War Studies from King’s College London. He is fluent in English and Turkish.
