With more than 20 years’ outstanding experience as a Human Rights lawyer, Gulden draws upon extensive international knowledge and expertise and is a prominent human rights advocate in Turkey. She is our Association Partner in Istanbul, Turkey.
Gulden was a member of the National Human Rights Institution of Turkey, and served a term as a member of the UN Sub-Committee on Prevention of Torture National Prevention Mechanisms. She organises human rights education programmes targeting members of civil society organisations in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
Gulden holds a degree in International Relations from Anadolu University, Turkey, and studied law at Marmara Law Faculty, Istanbul. She enjoys reading and volunteers for a number of community organisations, focusing on humanitarian aid, refugee and human rights work.
